First dApp Builder Workshop
For developers who have shipped web or mobile apps but have never deployed a Solana program. You will build a minimal counter dApp — on-chain program, client script, and devnet deployment — with checkpoints that catch the mistakes we see most often in first submissions.
Who this is for
Rust familiarity helps but is not required; we provide starter templates. You should be comfortable with Git, the command line, and reading API documentation without step-by-step handholding for basic programming concepts.
What is included
- Printed glossary booklet covering accounts, PDAs, transactions, and rent
- Anchor project scaffold with annotated tests
- Guided devnet deploy with instructor sign-off before you leave
- 30-day email access for one follow-up question per week
What is not included
- Mainnet deployment or token economics design
- Frontend framework tutoring beyond a minimal JavaScript client
- Hardware — bring your own laptop with 16 GB RAM recommended
Schedule and format
Duration: Two consecutive days, 10:00–17:00 KST with a one-hour lunch break.
Location: Pulse FieldBase reading room, 51-9,Bongmyeong-dong,Yuseong-gu,Daejeon — or identical schedule over video for remote participants.
Capacity: Maximum eight seats so every deploy gets reviewed.
Day-by-day outline
Day 1 — Environment and program skeleton
Morning covers Solana CLI, local validator, and Anchor init. Afternoon writes the counter instruction handlers and unit tests. Homework: read the accounts-vs-programs article and note three questions.
Day 2 — Client, deploy, and review
Morning connects a wallet and submits transactions from a small Node script. Afternoon deploys to devnet, verifies on explorer, and runs a group code review on common error patterns.
Pricing
